New standards - IWK expands its portfolio of tube sealing in the field of tube filling technology.
Contact usIWK is setting new standards in the field of tube filling technology. Tubes are closed with ultrasound. This technology offers further advantages over the classic hot-air process. The use of high-frequency mechanical vibrations generates the necessary heat directly in the material, so that the sealing surfaces are welded locally and in an extremely controlled manner. This means that the process is energy-efficient. Even with creamy, oily or pasty products, clean, safe and reproducible sealing seams can be created. In addition, the ultrasonic unit is quickly available, as it does not require heating or cooling of the sealing jaws.
For premium segments such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, flawless seam quality is crucial. Therefore, this technology expands the qualitative sealing of tubes. Since there is no external heat, the material and décor are spared, and a visually very clean, narrow weld seam is created – an aesthetic advantage for sophisticated brand appearances.
Since 1893, the inventor of the tube filling machine has stood for maximum reliability, hygienic safety according to GMP standards and impressive performance ranges of 70 to 760 tubes per minute. Precise chain transports, smooth stainless steel surfaces and the clear separation of drive and filling area enable fast, clean and safe filling processes – especially for sensitive pharmaceutical products.
