interpack 2026 Ultrasonic Welding of Tubes
At interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf from 07.-13.05.2026, IWK is setting new standards in the field of tube filling technology. An ultrasonic sealing unit for the reliable sealing of plastic tubes is installed on the exhibited line made of TZC + FP 18-1. This technology offers further advantages over the classic hot-air process. The use of high-frequency mechanical vibrations generates the necessary heat directly in the material, so that the sealing surfaces are welded locally and in an extremely controlled manner.
